Superworms are a staple diet for most insectivores as well as omnivores and carnivores. Superworms and jumbo mealworms are not the same species. We do not carry jumbo mealworms. Superworms are the lavae of the darkling beetle and make a very nutritous meal for your reptile. They are accepted by lizards, turtles, large frogs, large slamanders, birds, koi fish, arowana fish, and piranhas. Keep your superworms at room temperature or slightly below room temperature and feed fruits, veggies, grains or All Reptiles Gutload. They will keep for a long time! To prevent from beetling, keep them all together. Do not put superworms in the fridge!

We do not recommend superworms as feed for any reptiles that are still in juvenile stages. The chitin on the exoskeleton of superworms may be difficult to digest in younger reptiles. When feeding superworms, be sure that your pet is mature enough to chew the superworms appropriately before swallowing. Young ones sometimes will get too excited and forget to chew before they swallow.

We spent 2 hours with David, he was super helpful, purchased critter cage, natural materials for the space with a leopard gecko (molten lavender). 1000 live crickets and everything needed to get our new pet Queso set up. They also do boarding services, so no worries about a solution for our new friend if we go away. Our 11 year old daughter is so happy with the new addition to our family!

Absolutely! All the photos on our website are photos of the exact animal for sale unless otherwise stated in the description so you know exactly what to expect. Only about 5% of our photos are not exactly the ones you are purchasing, and it is indicated in the description.

Every single one of our animals on our website are available for viewing and purchase in store during regular business hours. We are open to the public and all are welcome without notice!

Yes, all of our reptiles are checked for good health before being listed for sale. We ensure they’re eating well and displaying normal behaviour. They are checked again before shipping.

You’ll need an appropriate enclosure, heating, lighting, substrate and hides. Food is usually not needed until a few days later. Contact us if you need help setting up the perfect environment.

All animals come with a healthy arrival guarantee. Animals are shipped with Overnight Delivery wherever possible and using insulated boxes and heat/cool packs (as needed) to ensure safe transit. Shipping is scheduled on specific days to avoid delays and extreme weather. We also offer and highly recommend local depot pick up in your area but we can also ship directly to your home whenever safe to do so.
