A Hypo Dunner bearded dragon is a combination of two distinct genetic traits: "Hypo" (short for hypomelanistic) and "Dunner." The Hypo trait causes a reduction in melanin, making the dragon’s colors lighter and more vibrant, often resulting in brighter shades of orange, yellow, or even pastel tones. Additionally, Hypo bearded dragons have clear, light-colored nails, distinguishing them from regular morphs with dark nails.
The Dunner trait, on the other hand, affects the dragon's scale pattern and texture, giving them a unique and rugged appearance. Instead of the typical symmetrical scale arrangement, Dunners have scales that grow in different directions, often creating a slightly rougher texture. Their scale pattern on the back and sides is less uniform, with colors and patterns that often appear more chaotic or scattered compared to typical bearded dragons. This trait also affects the pattern on the beard and belly, where the scales may follow unique, varied directions.
Together, the Hypo Dunner bearded dragon has a standout appearance with bright, clear colors and an interesting scale pattern, making it a popular choice among enthusiasts looking for something distinctive.
Additionally, this particular one is also a Super Blue Bar morph, known for the presence of vivid blue or bluish-gray stripes, or "bars," running down the sides of its body.

Yes, all of our reptiles are checked for good health before being listed for sale. We ensure they’re eating well and displaying normal behaviour. They are checked again before shipping.
You’ll need an appropriate enclosure, heating, lighting, substrate and hides. Food is usually not needed until a few days later. Contact us if you need help setting up the perfect environment.
All animals come with a healthy arrival guarantee. Animals are shipped with Overnight Delivery wherever possible and using insulated boxes and heat/cool packs (as needed) to ensure safe transit. Shipping is scheduled on specific days to avoid delays and extreme weather. We also offer and highly recommend local depot pick up in your area but we can also ship directly to your home whenever safe to do so.
