He came to us a little undersized at just 3 weeks old. At the time, we did not think anything of it, we have taken perfectly healthy undersized babies in the past with no issues. During the quarantine and raising up period, we started to notice that he wasn't gaining weight at a normal rate. Again, we did not think it was going to be a problem at first, he could just be a late bloomer! Over time, he got a little bigger and seemed very strong but then we noticed a minor overbite in his jaw. It is hard to notice unless you really know what to look for. Again, we thought no big deal... a slight overbite doesn't impede on his feeding at all and makes him look extra cute! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHowever, as more time went by and we kept on feeding him, he just would not grow! So here we are almost a year later... he was born September 2025... and he weighs a hefty 200grams. He never refuses a meal unless he is in shed but there is definitely something wrong with his growth rate. It is almost as if he is a dwarf ball python.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSo finally after all this time... we are now comfortable rehoming him knowing that he is strong and healthy, but just little! We suspect that he will likely never grow to full size and may max out at 1.5-2ft in length.
