West Indian Leopard Gecko

The West Indian leopard gecko is widely spread in western India  extending to southeastern Pakistan. The specific name "fuscus" means dark or dusky. These geckos have a slightly thickset appearance with strong and robust body. The head tapers towards the tip of the long snout, the back of the head is wider than the neck. The rostral is hexagonal and twice as wide as it is high.

These species in ncredibly rare in Canada and is growing in popularity in the US and Europe currently. Set ups are the same as leopard geckos but we have noticed that they are not as big eaters as regular leopard geckos. West Indians like to take their time with their food so do not worry if they are not chowing down as quickly as your regular leos!
