The leatherback zero bearded dragon has all the traits of the zero bearded dragon with the added recessive leatherback trait whhich affects the scale texture of the animal. 

• Scale Texture: The leatherback trait is characterized by a reduced number of scales and smoother skin compared to standard bearded dragons. This makes their scales smaller, more uniform, and less pronounced, giving them a sleek appearance.
• Pattern Enhancement: The smoother scales can sometimes enhance the visibility of subtle patterns or colors, although in the case of zero morphs, the color enhancement is minimal due to their lack of pigmentation.
