Armadillidium peraccae

This variation is a striking and hardy isopod species known for its slate gray to bluish coloration and smooth, rounded body. Native to parts of Europe, they thrive in drier conditions compared to many other isopods, making them ideal for temperate or semi-arid bioactive enclosures. They can roll into a tight ball for protection, adding to their appeal. What makes A. peraccae especially amazing is their balance of durability and visual interest. They're active, easy to care for, and reproduce steadily without overwhelming the enclosure. Their resilience and attractive look make them a favorite for keepers wanting both function and form in a clean up crew.

These isopods are medium sized and quite rare and hard to find. They are very efficient creatures and culture well together. They have the ability to tolerate semi-arid conditions.

Each culture has approximately 12-15 mixed size isopods included, with food, and are considered a medium sized isopod.
