Golden Tegus can make a great pet if the proper care is taken and knowledge is obtained. They have a reputation of being aggressive but can be tamed within reason with plenty of handling. These particular babies are no exception and they love to run away! Do not expect them to behave like Argentine Tegus. We recommend these guys for adult keeping only!
