This special species is very rare in Canada and can make an excellent pet to an experienced keeper. Elliot's enjoy low temp high humidity nights and medium to high temp dryer days. They must have good air circulation and provide a fogger for evenings. While they do not grow very large (about 8-10") including tail, they do well in a 18x18x24" tank or larger depending on how you are willing to set it up. Females will give birth to live babies if kept together with males!
