Porcellio laevis

The Dairy Cow variation of Porcellio laevis is one of the most popular isopods in the hobby, loved for its bold black and white splotched pattern that closely resembles the markings of a dairy cow. These invertebrates serve several important functions in any vivarium acting as tank janitors to help break down dead plant matter and uneaten foods. They also provide the vivarium inhabitants with an extra in-house snack and aid in nutrient cycling.

Each culture has approximately 15-20 mixed size isopods included, with food, and are considered a large sized isopod.
