This feisty little fella is not recommended for beginners. As beautiful and enticing as they are, let's remember that this is an advanced species that is very delicate and should be kept by more advanced keepers. We recommend this species to keepers who are patient, intuitive, and calm. This species should also be kept in a calm environment in general. A lot of personal care has been given to this species to raise it from neonates to a very healthy and well established juvenile. We would like to see it continue to thrive in capable hands.

Please also note that this species will not be sexed at such a young age due to high risk of tail kinking.
